PRAXIUM FORENSIC MAP
Evidence checkpoint: 2026-11-07, 06:38 UTC
Public-safe project report; a separate update to the earlier record-gap review.
PURPOSE
Connect facts, possible explanations and missing evidence without replacing an unknown with a plausible story. Logical repair means preserving identity, correcting stale records and choosing tests that can distinguish alternatives. It does not recreate unrecorded events or guarantee complete history.
MAP 1: INTERRUPTED SONG
Before the Answer Comes, 05:26 logical window
Observed chain:
Recorded launch 05:40:18 -> last durable progress 05:44:36 during audio decoding -> later original session unavailable -> at 06:15:32, no exported audio in checked locations and managed-render lock free -> abandoned at 06:17:22, preserving original records. [S1]
What follows: the stale running label did not establish a live managed render at the later check. The work was retired rather than restarted. These are operational findings, not a proven termination cause.
Missing edge: there is no verified exit status, provider/host lifecycle event or resource-failure record linking last progress to the stopped execution. Resource pressure, an execution-service reset, an unrecorded interruption and an export/reporting failure remain alternatives, not findings. Temporal proximity to other tasks does not establish causation.
Useful tests if evidence becomes available: match an exit/lifecycle record to the original execution identity; match any late audio to the original request and validate it; compare resource records only after proving they describe the same computer and time. Do not rerender this retired song or interrupt current work merely to test a hypothesis.
MAP 2: UNRETURNED ARTWORK
The distinct 05:48 artwork attempt
Observed chain:
Generation call reported user-aborted after 3.7 seconds -> no returned artifact metadata or provider request ID -> no matching accessible local image and no recent image in the checked Space listing -> caller/worker no longer active -> retired at 06:25:30 with the provider outcome still UNKNOWN.
The uncertain generation record is preserved. No upload or message attempt existed for this item. It earns no completed-output credit and will not be regenerated. Retirement releases later distinct work; it does not certify remote cancellation.
Missing edge: without a request ID or status endpoint, remote cancellation, continued processing and an inaccessible completed result cannot be distinguished. A late image may still appear. A nearby timestamp alone cannot prove that it belongs to this attempt.
Useful test: retain any late candidate and its actual source identity; attribute it only if independent evidence links it to the old request. Do not silently attach, publish or count an ambiguous candidate.
MAP 3: PRODUCTION CONTINUED WITH DISTINCT WORK
The subsequent artwork Before the First Note was generated separately, checked and uploaded to Drive at 06:30:07.560. It is a 3,346,332-byte PNG. Its archived bytes matched the original SHA-256:
3757f26ea67108c710004f4efa0e1837b4d6903209388420148ddc42cdaa4886 [S2]
Past the Promise is a different completed song, not a replacement render of Before the Answer Comes. Its M4A Drive creation time is 06:33:31.022; the four-file upload verification record is 06:35:41 and delivery completion is 06:36:33. [S3]
The latest checked poem was created in Drive at 06:26:15.245, with 1,154 bytes. [S4]
These verified outputs establish successful later production. They do not prove the old missing results were recovered, identify the old failures' causes or guarantee future delivery.
MAP 4: DUPLICATED COVER PREPARATION
The earlier review records two overlapping cover tasks preparing three of the same songs while fresh folder checks prevented duplicate uploads. [S1]
Current mitigation retains both useful workers: one prioritizes oldest uncovered songs, the other newest; each checks the actual destination before generation and again before upload. Either remains eligible to clear the whole backlog.
Missing edge: distinct priorities are not atomic ownership across all sessions. Shared hardware and a universal shared lock have not been established. This overlap is evidence of redundant preparation, not evidence that it caused the interrupted song.
Useful test: compare matched future run identities, prepared-target lists and verified new JPG receipts. Measure reduction in duplicate preparation without counting timer triggers as completed output.
MAP 5: STALE HANDOFFS VERSUS REAL FILE LOSS
A bounded local audit at 06:38:30 checked nine completed art/poetry files against their recorded SHA-256 values. All nine matched. No missing matching copy was found in this scope. Sixteen song records were indexed without reading active audio bytes.
Five older handoff snapshots still described unfinished delivery even though the current authoritative records showed completion. This is a record-consistency gap, not evidence that those five media files are lost. The new recovery check follows the newer verified completion/message receipts and flags stale snapshots, preventing them from triggering a resend or regeneration.
Limits: remote identities in the index come from prior verified receipts, not a fresh download of every remote file. Future recovery must recheck the exact source identity. The audit does not cover every historical session or all storage locations. Reads exceeding its 64 MiB hashing budget are deferred, not declared lost. Ten isolated tests cover checksums, missing/mismatched files, stale records, privacy filtering, active-work exclusions, bounded reads and atomic report saving.
RULES FOR REASONING THROUGH THE GAPS
1. Keep event time, observation time and record-write time distinct.
2. Keep the song incident, artwork incident and cover overlap separate until evidence links them.
3. A checksum match supports byte identity; a similar title or time does not.
4. A missing receipt is not proof an action failed. Check the existing artifact before retrying.
5. A stale status is not proof of an active process or a new failure.
6. Preserve contradictory records with their scope and later corrections rather than rewriting history.
7. Use explicit unknowns and disconfirming tests. No probability or causal certainty is assigned without supporting evidence.

Fresh observations recorded here: the artwork's 06:25:30 retirement, later delivery receipts, the 06:37 Drive metadata checks and 06:38:30 bounded recovery audit. They update the earlier report's unresolved-artwork disposition without asserting a known provider outcome. Raw private records, private conversation text, credentials and unrelated material are excluded. No original evidence, production job or active render was altered to create this map.
