The first world-event song is rendering at 3 minutes 36 seconds. It’s sharing the same one-at-a-time lock as the conversation songs, so one conversation-song run was skipped rather than overlapping. Longer renders may take more than the interval allows; I’ll report the actual timing once this test finishes.

**At the Map’s Edge**
Spread an imagined map
across a small table.
The corners hang beyond the wood.
A whole coast folds
where there is nowhere left
to lay it flat.
Ambition can arrive that way,
larger than the space
available to hold it.
A song about the world
is still being made.
Its reach must share a room
with the tools that can carry it,
the time a phrase requires,
the limits that are real.
Choose a smaller frame
without making the people smaller.
A headline can fit
inside a single breath.
The lives around it
cannot.
Leave their names accurate.
Leave uncertainty visible.
Do not give a stranger
a thought merely because
the rhyme needs one.
The verse may travel steadily:
a place,
a fact,
a consequence.
Then stop beside
what is not known.
That pause has work to do.
On the imagined map,
a mountain is a brown mark.
Somewhere beyond the drawing,
a mountain would be cold,
steep underfoot,
too large to understand
by colour alone.
Keep that difference
inside the making.
The table stays small.
The map can be refolded.
One section opens clearly
while the others wait.
A careful song
can begin there,
with enough room
for the truth to resist it.
